Textile Visualization

Hello all,
I recently discovered the stunning images solution from Textile Visualization using some of my textile designs. It is a great way to show and visualize your work and portfolio at an affordable cost!! I really recommend it to any print / textile / surface designer :-)

TEXTILE DESIGNERS! Visualize your design in a real life situation.

New and cost effective ways of making your designs stand out from the crowd.

Having being involved with textiles through my job as an interior designer and fashion visualizer, I have often found designs presented in a very predictable method of just showing designs completely flat with little sense of scale or application.

So what is the solution? Photo-shoots are the obvious choice but it can be costly to fabricate your designs into wallpapers, upholstered furniture and soft furnishings, and then hire out a studio and a professional photographer.

Textile Visualization offers virtual studio sets designed for you to showcase your designs in situ with photo-realistic CGI at an affordable cost.
Your designs will be showcased in context and in scale with its surroundings, which ensures that you can communicate your designs accurately and, the most important aspect, setting your portfolio apart from your competitors.

All you need to do is upload your designs and specify where you would like your design/s to be applied and leave the rest up to us. When your scene is completed, we will e-mail it back to you within 24 hours.

For a FREE DEMO, just send 1-4 of your designs to wyn@textilevisualization.com and within 1hr-5hrs, I will send you a photo-realistic visual with your designs.
There is NO CATCH; you’ve got nothing to lose but a lot to gain!! Your work will stand out from the masses and make a strong visual impact!!!

For more information please visit www.textilevisualization.com or contact me at wyn@textilevisualization.com and start making your designs stand out from the crowd.

Fecundidad

Golden Spider Silk

Last Saturday, together with one of my cousins, I went back to the extraordinary and my favorite museum in London, the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) - the world´s greatest museum of art and design. The building itself it is a jewel however the art and designs that its rooms contains is full of beauty in any corner. No empty space.

My cousin suggested to go and visit the FREE Golden Spider Silk cape created by Simon Peers and Nicholas Godley. This piece of art is so unique and I never see the natural yellow colour of the spider silk. It appears to be so delicate and at the same time is so strong, one of the fine threats can hold 200gr easily.

The tunic has been elaborated with more than one million female golden orb-weaver spiders collected in the highlands of Madagascar and the embroidery design it is based in the culture area. This unique piece of art, has been made by hand for a group of artists and embroiders working with patience and dedication during three years.

The yellow colour is not die, it is natural made by this type of Madagascar spiders.

You can watch the link to see how it has been done such a unique piece of Art:
