Yesterday I had an interesting day, I went to Cambridge to meet up with a couple of friends and to go altogether to Judy´s Vintage Fair! One of the UK´s largest and most affordable vintage fair. What a great adventure into the past closets ;) As we were browsing the rails full of beauties I re-discovered some old patterns from the 70´s that my mum and her friends used to were... a great feeling!
It was all organized in a large council building and over 45 stalls distributed along several rooms. There were young designers and old people all dressed for the occasion, ladieswear, menswear and childrenwear, as well as accessory... Vintage, Retro and re-worked, clothes & homewares from 1920´s to 1980s.
The entrance fee it was £2 which is affordable and there were items from £5 upto £35, beautiful clothes, leather bags, shoes, vintage records, necklaces, brooches, keys and even a small coffee shop with delicious cupcakes and handmade cakes... a paradise for the senses.

Ayer fue un día interesante, me fuí a Cambridge a pasar el día y a encontrarme con un par de amigas para ir juntas a una Feria de Vintage! Una de las más grandes y asequibles Ferias de Vintage en UK. Qué gran aventura a través de los armarios del pasado;) Mientras echábamos un vistazo a los railes llenos de ropas preciosísimas, re-descubrí algunos estampados de los años 70 que mi madre y sus amigas solían vestir... qué momento!!
La feria estaba muy bien organizada en un gran edificio como el ayuntamiento y los más de 45 puestos estaban distribuidos por las distintas salas. Había jóvenes diseñadores y gente mayor, todos vestidos y caracterizados para la ocasión... Ropa de mujer, de hombre, de niños y también accesorios... Vintage, retro y re-diseñado. Prendas y accesorios para la casa de los años 20 hasta los 80.
La entrada está bastante bien de precio porque sólo son 2 libras (casi 3 euritos) y había cosas desde 5 hast 35 libras, preciosos vestidos, collares, broches, llaves antiguas, libros, e incluso hasta una cafetería con deliciosos bollitos y tartas caseras... un paraíso para los sentidos.
Recomiendo esta feria porque es una gran experiencia y posiblemente volveré en alguna otra ocasión. En los siguientes enlaces puedes encontrar más información:
